Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

This big, beautiful, pacing mare just weaned a foal and is being transitioned to pleasure riding. Joy had a successful racing career over three seasons with earnings of $37,000. She’s raised 11 foals, with several fast record horses, but not enough money earnings to keep her commercially viable. Joy has been at “charm school” for thirty days and her rider says, “This mare is really nice. She would be awesome for someone that wants a horse for a pet. Joy loves attention and has a sweetheart personality. She is 100% on the ground, clips, loads, excellent for the blacksmith. She stands to be mounted and is calm to ride. Joy has many good years yet to offer. Her age is an asset if you want a well mannered, wise horse that wants to serve. Joy is being placed without papers, but comes with a five generation pedigree and her racing and production records. Joy is located at a farm near Harrisburg, PA. She has received the best of feed and health care. To discuss her further please contact Tiffany Carey at (717) 512-7716 or email kozmiquefarms@gmail.com. An approved adopter can commit to joy by contacting Dot Morgan (937) 947-4020 and faxing a contract to (937) 947-3201.
