Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.
This is a flashy gelding with a lot of chrome and floaty movement. He retired from the track after only 5 races in June ‘08 due to lack of speed. He is a very sensitive individual who focuses very hard on his rider trying to please. He needs to be adopted by a person who has a light touch. In the six months since the track he has had a lot of Parelli ground work, light ring work and numerous trail rides. He has been ridden over a wooden bridge, plastic and cardboard. He is very confident about his feet and didn’t even look at the ground poles the first time he tried them. He is very responsive to the Parelli groundwork and moves with the slightest hand gestures. In the ring he stands like a statue for mounting. He has no trouble going alone on the trails and does not spook. He is sensitive about his flanks. This gelding is by Holly Bull out of a Hennessy mare.
