Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

Cattle Thief is a wonderful minded 2 year old with heaps of potential. Good minded and calm to handle, he has exceptionally good ground manners in all respects and has no problem with clippers, hot shoeing etc. Already 16h, he is still growing and will benefit from some down time. He lunges nicely in both directions, has been ridden in the arena alone and with other horses working and jumping and remained calm. He has also been trail ridden which he seems to enjoy greatly and has encountered a variety of farm machinery and big noisy trucks without incident. Has lovely flowing paces and is reasonably well balanced for a large young horse. He was retired from racing due to pulling his suspensory. He has been stalled, rehabbed and now is on turn out. He has been fine with light riding. We do not suggest any hard work till next spring.
