Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

This is an exceptionally nice, big, sound, young trotting gelding. He is athletic, correct and balanced with big bones and strong feet. Eddie will mature at 16.2h or larger. He’s had several months of harness training and 60 days of transitioning undersaddle. His trainer said, “Eddie is willing and sweet. He stands to be mounted and is a lovely mover. Though he is very green, he does not spook. He has been exposed to a lot of noise, helicopters, and a gun range down the road.” Eddie is a Maryland bred. The Maryland harness program is so poor right now, that Eddie’s owner sent him to us rather than keep him in training. Eddie comes from a major breeder and has always received the best of care. This is a terrific opportunity to develop a young horse for Hunter/Jumpers, Eventing, Dressage, Carriage Driving, or Foxhunting. For those that want a big, strong, sound, young gelding, don’t miss this one.
