Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

Unlike his name, Flying Dismount is not an option. This stunning 5 yr old standing 16.1h is now available for adoption. Sound, kind and with excellent manners and disposition, this horse has eventing or jumper potential. Athletic, he is a wonderful ride with a nice soft mouth and easy straight movement. This horse has never put a foot wrong and is already showing a willingness to soften and go into a frame. Lunges well in both directions, he is good to shoe, clip, bathe etc and will stand untied in the aisle while groomed, blanketed and saddled. He has already graduated to group turnout on 25 acres with 15 other geldings and does great.
He is already showing potential over small rails and the video shows the first time he had ever gone over poles or a cross rail. Having been evaluated by a top level advanced event rider, he is believed to have all the qualities needed to go to the top in the right hands. Fully clipped, he will need to be blanketed and also stalled at night. He is free of all vices. Flying Dismount has a star quality that is often difficult to find.
He just retired from racing in January due to no longer being competitive. His retired sound, but does have an old bow that he sustained as a three yr old. He raced on it for 2 yrs with out any problems.
