Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

Gimme is a well natured gelding. He moves easily through his shoulders and hindquarters to hold a natural steady rhythm. Gimme has been back under saddle since the first of March and has settled in well to our routine. He is an uncomplicated ride, has a soft mouth and moves off of leg well. Gimme seems to really enjoy being worked with and ridden. He has been hacked around the farm, through the hay field and along the road. Is fine by himself or with company. He would make a great all around horse for someone looking for a fun horse to ride and enjoy.
This cute guy retired from racing at the end of November because he was no longer competitive. However, he only actually left the track in January. We had him on turn out for about two months prior to bringing him to our main farm. We do have a vet soundness evaluation form on him. He is sound with no apparent injuries (other than an old splint). Gimme should be sound for any flat work as well as lower level hunters/ jumpers 2′6″.
