Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

Hidalgo is a gelding who originally went through our program in 2005. Since that time he has had several owners but has gained a great education along the way. He has been schooled both on the flat and over fences. He has a laid back disposition and desirable hunter movement. Hidalgo been on numerous trail rides, been ridden by young teenagers, and has been a husband horse as well. He would make a great all around horse or could be a competitive hunter. Hidalgo doesn’t have any vices other than getting a bit excited about turn out in the mornings. He is a well schooled gelding that simply needs a steady job. He has no injuries and is sound for any type of riding discipline. Hidalgo is by Theatrical, he raced only 2 times and was a $190,000 yearling at Keeneland.
