Bilan is a 7yr old 15.3h chestnut gelding. He is a happy and playful boy. Bilan loves making new friends out in the field. Anytime a new member is added to the group he is the first to come welcome them and invite them to join in his games. He is a busybody, so standing still while tied or in the crossties is sometimes a challenge. Although he likes to wiggle around he is very patient for clipping and mane pulling/braiding.
Bilan was adopted out about 8mo ago and had to be returned for financial reasons. The bonus is that you have the opportunity to aquire a horse with more of an education and miles than we typically have. He has schooled cross country and through water obstacles as well as participated in dressage clinics. Bilan was also featured in our Thoroughbreds For All event on Apr 25, where he was ridden by Chris McCarron to demonstrate “jockey dressage”. He has no known injuries and will be suitable for all disciplines. Bilan does need an advanced rider as he is also a busybody under saddle and needs a patient rider who can focus his talent. He is willing to please and very kind, he is sure to have a bright future.
