Dyker Heights, which is the name of a borough in Brooklyn, is a sweet baby 4 year old gelding standing 16 1/2h. Dyker is the first one to come marching up to you in the field and will follow you around even when you are trying to catch someone else. He almost breaks your heart because he looks like his feelings are hurt when you don’t pick him! He is a doll to handle in the barn. He can be impatient with standing and has busy feet which is just his young age showing through. He does not have any stable vices.
He went to the track and was found to have a bad case of the “slows”. Meaning: he had no talent to run. He has been going very well under saddle for us and always a joy to ride. He picks up both leads easily and is willing to learn. Dyker has started over crossrails and takes every new lesson with ease. He is eager for new challenges and is quite brave. He is ready to begin his career in any discipline at the low to mid levels with an intermediate or advanced rider..
