Medieval Art is a very classy horse who is bursting with potential! “Arty” is the product of some outstanding Standardbred bloodlines– his sire, his sire of sire, and his sire of dam, all won over $2 million in lifetime earnings! Arty moves around with an air of confidence in his step, as though he knows of his regal bloodlines. He also sports excellent confirmation with long legs and a relatively uphill movement.
Arty has gentlemanly ground-manners that translate to ease of handling for the farrier and vet. In turnout, Arty likes to have a buddy, and he is not dominant– he watches out for himself, but he is a kind companion. He has experienced both individual stabling with daily turnout and 24/7 pasture lifestyles, successfully. He is an easy keeper and has become a very adaptable guy!
Arty was a pacer in his racing career, but he actually has a lovely trot! He is beginning to offer steps of canter, but doesn’t quite have the confidence or maintain it. He can be a bit devious at times, and can test his rider, but if you earn his partnership, we could see him being a very competitive mount in he show ring! He loves going on trail rides as well, and is happy to go out on rides on his own. Medieval Art has the looks, breeding and soundness to be a top riding horse in any division. This classy gelding would also look stellar as driving horse as well. This fellow is extremely versatile!
