Speight the Devil is one laid back dude. He has wonderful ground manners and stands quietly while being tacked. We tack him loose in the stall and he will even doze off while standing there. He gets along well in large group of boys and falls in the middle of the group. He isnt top dog but he also doesnt get picked on. He does have a tendency to come in naked after having been turned out with a blanket. He does not have any stall vices.
Speight has the same nonchalant attitude under saddle. He has a swinging trot and a dreamy canter to ride. Speight travels contentedly on a loose rein and almost seems push button compared to other youngsters. He is a push ride but not so lazy you are constantly kicking. He is focused, with a brave and solid mind. He does not have any known limitations. Speight would make a lovely partner for an intermediate rider and even a youth rider who is considered intermediate.
