How to Help

New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program is a 501 (c) 3 organization and all donations are tax deductible.

There are many different ways you can help!

Host A Charity Event

Choose New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program as the designated charity of a special event. For example every year we put on the All Thoroughbred Charity Horse Show with Rerun. All funds made go directly to New Vocations and Rerun.

Donations

Donate funds towards our monthly board, veterinarian, shipping and blacksmith needs.

Donate to our Endowment Fund. For more info please read Endowment Fund .

Donate items for our silent auctions. We have two silent auctions every year to benefit the program. The first one is at Thistledown in October on Breeders Cup Day and the second one is at the Blooded Horse sale in February. Art and memorabilia are especially popular. Tickets to sporting events, vacation packages, tack, gift items, and a variety of goods and services are also needed. All items should be sent to our Laura, Ohio facility.

Donate a Breeding to Thoroughbred Charities of America (before 11/15) or to our Standardbred Stallion Auction (before 12/15).

Donate Stocks, bonds, real-estate collectibles, vehicles, or other items of value that can be sold or invested.

Companion Homes

Open your heart to a companion horse. We desperately need homes and sponsors for physically limited and aged horses.

Sell Items on Ebay and Have the Proceeds go to New Vocations.
