Application Process

If you are serious about adopting a retired racehorse, please fill out an application even if you don't, yet, see the horse you want. We do not hold horses while applications are being approved. The horse you want may be adopted by someone who is already approved while you are waiting for your application to be processedAll persons interested in adopting a horse from New Vocations are required to fill out an application and pay a $10 processing fee. The application can be filled out online or printed off and mailed to New Vocations, 7380 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026. There will be a $10 processing fee for all applications (non-refundable).

The online application can be paid for by credit card. Please follow the link below to enter your credit card information and be taken directly to the online application. We use PayPal for this process, so if you do not have a PayPal account currently, feel free to visit their website here to sign up. If you will be mailing your application you must enclose a money order or check for $10.

New Vocations adopts out to all states East of Kansas and Texas including Texas and all the states directly above.
You will be asked for your vetrenarian's phone and fax #.
You will be asked to give two references who that are familiar with your horse experience.
