Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

JD’s Message is a very pretty, big, trotter that has been trail ridden off and on for the past 6 years. He is very gentle and kind and suitable for any rider. He does trot smoothly under saddle, but really prefers to walk! Jake is also very “bomb proof” as proof of his posted pics. He stood with no problems when a very loud dump truck drove buy pulling a trailer with a huge tractor on it! In addition, he has zero problems with cars, trucks, dogs, bikes or kids.
Jake had a very short career as a racehorse and only raced 17 times and was retired in 2000. Since then he has been a family riding horse. Jake is sound and ready for a new person that will love and enjoy him. Jake is already and awesome trail horse and rides great with other horses. He also gets along well with all horses and is happy any where you put him. This special horse stands great in the cross ties and will let anyone pick his feet up. Jake is super quiet and ready to go to his new home!
