Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

Lady is a good natured mare who raced 21 times during the age of 3 and 4. She retired in 2005 and went on to have 3 foals. Her owner needed to cut down on his broodmare herd so Lady was donated to the program. Prior to coming to New Vocations she was ridden around the farm with no problems. While at New Vocations she has been great to work with. She has taken to ring work very quickly. There are very few horses that we feel would be suitiable for a younger rider and Lady is definintely on of them. She is very well broke and has a great mind. Lady has no apparent injuries and has clean legs. She should be suitable for any discipline including jumping. She is by Rizzi and out of a Cox’s Ridge dam.
