Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

Dancer is an imported Thoroughbred from Argentina. He was bred, raised and raced in Argentina and then shipped to the US in 2007. Dancer raced 18 times and was retired because he was no longer competitive. His last race was in November. He remained at the track until January 1st when he arrived to New Vocations. He has just been relaxing and getting used to turn out. We started him back under saddle and he is doing well. A bit on the lazy side but responsive. He has a soft mouth and naturally wants to give to the bit. Dancer has no apparent injuries and should be sound for most disciplines including jumping. He has done a lot in his lifetime especially considering that he is only turning 6 this year.
