Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.
This sweet mare was just not the competitive type. In the 11 starts she raced, she never even made it to third place, she just rather let the others pass her. She is kind and sound and has a calm disposition. The boarders in our barn say she is the sweetest horse they know, when they stand in front of the dutch door to pet her, she rests her head on their shoulder. She has spent the past three months in training with an adopter. She had a lesson with Debbie Hill in Huntsville AL who was very impressed with her athletic potential. Debbie rides Grand Prix dressage and says this mare has phenomenal dressage potential. She has beautiful extensions, a nice shoulder in, leg yields and a balanced canter. This mare jumps beautifully even in and out of water. She gets a little nervous going down the trails by herself and needs a confident rider. She is easy to handle and bathe; gets along well with the other mares. She has never been bred and has her papers. The male rider, Marshall is 5′9″ and 170lbs.
