This is a big, beautiful, trotting mare that trained extensively at two and three, but did not make it to the races.  She was bred at four and raised six foals for her donor.   However, only one of her foals has been a winner, so Mauve was sent to New Vocations for a new career.   This is a very stout, mare that should make an excellent pleasure mount for many years to come.  She would also make a very good cross on Warmbloods or add speed and motion to a gaited horse cross.  Mauve has been ridden a few times by Tiffany at her Harrisburg farm.  Tiffany said, “This mare has a lot of personality, she is always thinking.  You can just see the sparkle in her eye.  She has been great to be around; great under saddle.   She is easy to clip, load, tie and trim.  I’ve found that Mauve prefers women over men.”  Though Mauve is a trotting mare, she will likely gait easily if collected in a mild leverage bit.  Mauve is being placed without registration papers, but a five generation pedigree is provided.   Mauve is at a farm near Harrisburg, PA.  She has always received the best of feed and health care.  To discuss Mauve further please contact Tiffany Carey at (717) 512-7716 or email kozmiquefarms@gmail.com.  An approved adopter can commit to this mare by contacting Dot Morgan (937) 947-4020 and faxing a contract to (937) 947-3201.
