Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

This is an absolutely gorgeous pacing gelding. Romeo looks like a big Morgan, stocky, stylish, with a long neck, big luminous eyes, and small ears. He is a knockout! Romeo qualified three times late in his three year old season and wasn’t competitive enough to race. He’s been turned out ever since, always receiving the best of care along with regular vaccinations, worming, and trims. Romeo is clean legged, fat, and quite sound. He’s very pleasant to handle, and though he’d never been ridden before, he stood quietly to mount and walked off relaxed and supple in the bridle. Romeo will gait easily in a mild leverage bit or will trot in a plain snaffle. This gelding is stunning. He will make an awesome riding and/or driving horse for show or pleasure. Be prepared for “oohs” and “ahhs” wherever this horse goes.
