Not only does Tapp’s sell feed to the local farms and pet owners but they send their trucks to Churchill Downs, Turfway and Keenland, as well as Trackside, High Point Glenn Wood and Wheeler’s training centers.  They sell to almost the entire Thoroughbred, Saddlebred and Sport Horse farm in the area. They mix their own feeds as well as handle Purina and Buckeye. They were both very happy to help advertise for New Vocations.

Larry Hughes (right) drove for Tapp’s Feed when it was owned by the original owner and bought it with a partner, Kent (left), when it came up for sale. Larry used to sell to Charlie Morgan and knows of the family, he was very complimentary. Kent has a PhD in Animal Nutrition from UK and worked for Buckeye Feeds for many years. They are both wonderful people.
