This beautiful filly only raced 5 times and retired in March 2009 due to a small chip in her right knee.  She has been turned out for a year and her knee looks good.  She is by Cactus Ridge and out of Tis Willie Nellie who was a stakes winner.  Nellie would make a lovely sporthorse  broodmare.  She has beautiful head, nice neck and top line.  She is very flashy with her four white socks and blaze.  Nellie has three fluid gaits with nice extension and is light on her feet.  We have not ridden her yet but she should be sound enough for light riding.   From working with her on the ground her knee only bothers her if worked hard.  Currently she is moving well and has no inflammation in the knee.  Nellie is a sweet natured mare who gets along well with other mares.  She has no vices.
