New Vocations is honored to have another top harness horse driver step up and wear “New Vocations.org” on his racing colors. Currently the third leading driver in North America for the most wins in 2013, Ronnie Wrenn Jr. joins the 2012 Driver of the Year, Tim Tetrick, in wearing the New Vocations patch on their colors.
Ronnie Wrenn Jr. comes from a third generation harness horse family in Michigan and his uncle, Pete Wrenn, has also been a longtime supporter of New Vocations. Ronnie drove his first race in 2008 and has quickly made his way to the top. He celebrated his 1,000th win on August 13th at Northfield Park in Ohio and went on to have a total of eight wins that night! Wrenn loves harness racing and the Standardbred breed and feels that they have a lot more to offer as solid riding horses when they retire from the track. We are thrilled to have Ronnie promoting our mission at both Northfield Park and Scioto Downs on a weekly basis.
Look for leading drivers in Indiana and Pennsylvania, Trace Tetrick and Aaron Merriman, who will also be wearing our name on their colors to show support and help raise awareness for Standardbreds beyond the track.
