Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

He really isn’t anything like his name. “Rex” is a kind gentle gelding who raced 29 times and retired when he bowed his left front tendon. He has been fully rehabbed and is ready for light riding. Rex is a tall gelding with a good mind. It would not be hard to get him going well on trails. By spring he could also be schooled for dressage or any other flat work. Rex is loving and affectionate horse. He loves attention and has great ground manner. Rex gets along well with other horses. His only vice is that he cribs while stalled.
