Standing in the gap for retired racehorses providing a safety-net through rehabilitation, education, & placement in qualified, caring homes.

This elegant looking gelding has been retired from racing since November of last year. He only had 13 starts and retired with no apparent injuries. He was adopted out to a teenage girl who worked with him for the past 7 months on the flat and with ground poles. Unfortunately it was not a good match so he was returned to the program. We have been riding Val and he has been a perfect gentleman. He does do best with someone who has a balanced seat and soft hands. Val is very talanted and a beautiful mover. He has a nice flat trot and smooth canter. He would excel as a hunter/jumper with the proper training. Val has shown us that he has a calm nature and should be suitable for most disciplines. We have seen no vices. He loves turn out and was used to being out all night.
