Victoria is a beautiful big bodied black trotting mare that trained at two and three, qualified twice, but wasn’t competitive.  She’s been a broodmare the past 9 yrs and raised six foals.  Her foals haven’t proved commercially profitable so Victoria was downsized and is being placed without papers.  Victoria is a real Black Beauty.  She is pleasant and well mannered, eager to please and loves attention.  She’s been ridden twice on trails and did great.   She let the kids in town pet her, complete with Moms and strollers.  She stands quietly to mount and while mounted.  I got on and off of her several times moving debris off the trail.  She was solid as a rock and her shorter size made her easy to mount.   Victoria is so agreeable that I dragged our big rubbish container up from the road with her walking calmly on the left side.   I did some showmanship moves and she was an amazing quick study, trotting readily beside me as soon as I moved out.   This mare is clean legged and sound.  She is an easy keeper and gets along well with others.  I can’t say enough good about her.  The only irritating thing she does is flip her tongue over the bit.  I’m sure at the track her tongue was always tied.  A flash noseband might do the trick, but I simply put her in a hackmore.  Victoria has an easy trot to sit or post.  She could also be taught to rack.
